I am in the escalator to take chlorin sample released from chimney. There are 180 m far from the land and I took it at MAPA Gloves Sdn. Bhd which producing the gloves. This is a FRANCE base company. The methyl orange colour solution is the indicator for chlorin. If the chlorin exist in chimney it will turn colorless.

My practical training story (5-6-2008)

Today I help Mr. Philip to complete CardinalHealth LEV(Local Exhaust Ventilation) report. Mr. Philip is manager at CNL Consultant and he is also our father. As he is always taking our welfare and teaching us how do we do LEV monitoring and report. He told me that the tachnometer he used is to test the efficiency of the motor and fan. If the rpm of the fan and motor is above or lower than 10%, the fan and motor will not in a good condition.
It may be caused by dust adhering on the fan if the motor and fan has noise. I think this is good knowledge for me as this cannot be gained from book. Only based on experience, we can tackle the problem which is caused by other factors.
Then, he told me that I have to put for any references to prove my state if I do a report. Without reference, it will be hard to convince people. He taught me how do calculate flow rate of the duct that is Flow rate = Face velocity (MeasuredTransport velocity) x Area of the duct. Oops My fluid mechanic knowledge learnt in UTM! Then we can use 4005sq root VP to calculate measured transport velocity(MTP)
